Incline/Flat dumbbell presses on stability
ball
Print this exercise
Incline Dumbbell Presses: You can mimic being on an incline bench by lying back on a
Stability Ball. Placing the ball between your shoulder blades lower your butt closer to the floor. Bringing the
dumbbells up to shoulder level begin pressing them straight up as described in the Dumbbell Incline Press
above.
Flat Bench Dumbbell Press: The only difference between this exercise and the
Incline version is that you raise your butt higher to mimic lying on a flat bench. Press the dumbbells straight up
as described in the Flat Bench Dumbbell Presses above.
Most stability ball presses are good
for kids
The only Stability Ball Press to be avoided by Kids is the Overhead Press. This
can place too much stress on Kids' growing bodies. You can replace the Overhead Press on the Stability Ball by
doing a Side Lateral Raise on the Stability Ball. This works very similar muscle groups.
