Helpful suggestion if you are
not working out
There is nothing wrong with not working out with weights or
resistance machines or doing some form of resistance training at all in the beginning. If all you
can do is schedule time to go on a brisk walk for 30-40 minutes three times per week, then that is where we will
begin. Trust me, no matter where we start from, we will get there as long as you continue to schedule the time to
be active and stick to it.
I highly recommend some form of activity. Even though, it is possible to lose
weight and body fat without exercise, if that is your goal, it is much more difficult and there is a greater
chance you will gain your weight and body fat back unless you have incorporated a fit lifestyle.
If you begin with light activity while you continue to improve your nutrition, you
will find that you will want to become more active naturally and it won't be long until you will be using some form
of resistance.
Here's a list of suggested activities and exercise:
walking
jogging
bicycling
eliptical trainer
other cardio machine
yoga
pilates
stretching
calesthenics
When you are able to do resistance exercises and the workouts, always remember that there’s nothing wrong with lifting less weight or doing less time on a particular exercise. This
program is not about making you a stronger bench presser or squatter. It’s about you being really fit for the rest
of your life.

Finding
your Natural Workout Progression
It's about finding YOUR natural progression. Not mine, not
theirs... yours.
With patience and consistency, you will find that
you want to increase the work you are doing naturally. As you complete sessions and feel energized, you will want
to complete more sessions and as you complete more sessions, you see the results from consistently working
out. You will naturally feel stronger, more energetic, happier and wanting to do
more.
If you push too hard,
you will burn out and you will not experience this understanding of natural
progression
Continue to consistently schedule time to
exercise and complete workouts and your body will naturally tell you when you are ready to step it up. It's a
great feeling, so be patient and don't burn yourself out before you get to experience it.
