Quick and Easy Grilled Steak or Chicken

Steak and Chicken are an easy, quick, Morgan family favorite. This reciepe can work well with any cut of steak (tri-tip, rib-eye, new york, etc.) and chicken (chicken breast or thighs).  We typically stick with a leaner cut of beef and chicken breasts. For the sides, we will have vegetables and or green salad and a good carbohydrate source. (baked potato, yam or brown rice, etc.)   

Beef or chicken cuts of your choice
Olive oil
garlic powder
salt and pepper

Lightly coat olive oil and press into steak or chicken garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Cook steaks or chicken over stovetop grill, oven or bbq to your desired doneness.
