It's important to include healthy snacks throughout your daily meals so that you are not going any longer than two to three hours between daily meals. Ideally, you want to balance your snacks just like you meals with both protein and carbs, but a healthy snack is better than no snack at all. So choosing to eat some fruit or either a handful of seeds or nuts is better than nothing at all. Choosing to add some protein is even better like fruit with yogurt or cottage cheese or having some nuts and seeds with the fruit.
